Exchange Trip to Spain for Scoil Pól students Erasmus
Keep in touch with tech

Scoil Pól is delighted to announce that we are taking part in an Erasmus+ Project. Congratulations to a group of 3rd year students who have been awarded an Erasmus + grant to travel to Spain in 2023. These students have been working on a joint project with IES Hermanos D’Elhuyar, in Logroño, Spain throughout the year, called ‘Keep in touch with Tech’. Scoil Pól will welcome our Spanish exchange students to Kilfinane this September and Irish students will travel to Longoño, in the Rioja region in Spain in March.

The aim of this project is to promote safe and responsible use of technology as well as improve and develop student’s comprehension and production of Spanish. Students from Scoil Pól have been communicating with their Spanish friends via letter, video calls and the educational platform Flipgrid getting to know about Spanish culture and learning about online safety. During our respective trips, students will participate in workshops and presentations on online safety, they will attend class in the host country and they will have cultural trips and activities.
