Interschools Equestrian Competition
Interschool Sceilig Nov 2022
Huge Congratulations to our Scoil Pol Equestrian Teams who braved the adverse weather conditions and travelled to Carrignavar in Co Cork to compete in the Sceilig Interschools Showjumping Event. One of our teams finished 6th out of a total of 20 teams, well done guys.
Also congratulations to Saoirse Hanafin who got 2nd place in a hugely competitive 1m Individual Showjumping class!!

Interschools Thurles 2022
Congradulations to our girls who competed in Thurles Equestrian Centre in the Novice Teams Competition where they got placed 6th out of 24 teams. An outstanding achievement on an extremely cold, wet and windy day. Well done to all.

We are delighted to have such a large interest in Equestrian activities this year, so much so that Mr OHara has kindly got us a 3rd set of saddle pads for our horses so we can look our best on event days. These are some of our newer members receiving the saddle pads from Mr OHara as they prepare to compete in Carrigaline next Tues Mar 8th. Best of luck to all 14 rider’s that are available to compete for Scoil Pól.

Great day out on Jan 30th in Thurles. Jennifer Lane gets 6th in the Novice Individuals and we were well represented by three fantastic teams.

Scoil Pól win out the Sceilg Sport Horses, Watergrasshill, Munster Interschools Showjumping Competition for the 1st time ever. History was has been made. Huge congratulations to Mr.Lowe and his equestrian team which consisted of Matthew Kiely, Aine Morris, Jennifer Lane, Eoin O'Halloran, Eva Duggan, Nano McCarthy, Lorna Murphy and Jack Fitzgibbon! Super achievment! Congrats all!

Well done to Scoil Pol A equestrian team on coming 3rd at Clonshire on November 1st 2019. Well done also to Siobhán Hayes on coming 4th in the individuals! And a huge well done to the Scoil Pól Amalgamation team! Very proud of all your efforts! Keep up the good work.

Scoil Pól participated in Equestrian Interschools on Friday Oct 11th and were ably represented by 9 riders in both Individual and Team Events where Áine Morris got a hard fought 3rd in the Senior Individual Class.

Another great day for the Scoil Pól Equestrian team with an overall 7th place finish and 4th for Áine Morris in the individual category. Huge well done to Áine, Siobhán, Matthew and Jasmine as well as Mr. Lowe.

Equestrian Team receive new saddle pads
Our Equestrian Team is competing on Friday the 19th of October in Ennis and have been kindly given a set of saddle pads by our school Principal, Mr OHara. The team consists of Aine Morris, Siobhan Hayes, Matthew Kiely and Jasmine O'Connell, we wish them all the best for their Interschools event.
Clonshire Hunter Trials 2018
Siobhan Hayes, Aine Morris and Matthew Kiely competed in the Novice & Pony Pair competitions. Siobhan and Matthew also competed in the Individual class where Matthew won his category!!

Clonshire 2018
We had a team of three students participate in Clonshire Interschools on Monday May 7th: who were Siobhan Hayes, Matthew Kiely and Aine Morris.
All riders did exceptionally well in very warm conditions and a huge congratulations to Aine who finished 4th in the Novice Individuals. Well done to all on the day.
Carlow 2017
On March 25th we participated in the All-Ireland Interschools Hunter Trials in Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. Ciara Mullane competed in the Senior Individuals Event and had a very competitive clear round. Siobhan Hayes competed in the Junior Individuals and the Combined Pairs Events and had a fantastic round in each on her steady skewbald pony, Lizzie.

Scoil Pol participated on Saturday March 12th in the All Ireland Interschools Equestrian competition. Danielle Magner competed in the Senior Individual Competition and Valerie Riordan competed in the Junior Competition.
