At Scoil Pól, we aim to incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) in both curricular and extracurricular endeavours. We offer Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, Art, Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics at Leaving Certificate. These subjects provide students with a strong and versatile knowledge.
In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of STEAM competitions. Each year we enter the Stripe Young Scientist and Technology exhibition. All students are actively encouraged to participate through our lunchtime Science club. This provides students with both academic and personal growth placing emphasis on key skill development such as research skills, critical thinking and communication skills. Our continued success in these competitions continue to inspire future students to take part.
