We are the Scoil Pól Trad Group! From banjos to fiddles, concertinas to whistles, we are a group who love traditional Irish music and enjoy playing tunes together! We take part in many different events throughout the school year including the Open night, Awards night, school masses, Seachtain na Gaeilge events and culture nights for our international and exchange students. We, along with our amazing school set dancers and Sean Nós dancers, love showcasing our talent! Some of our favourite outings are when we travel to local nursing homes and care facilities at Christmas, Easter and St. Patrick’s Day! We meet once a week on a Friday, for tunes and a chat in the music room (A06). Anyone who has an interest in traditional Irish music and dance is more than welcome to join us!
